Patience is a virtue

I don't like to wait. I have never liked to wait. Waiting drives me crazy. According to my mom, patience is a virtue... one that I don't have. Luckily (or unluckily) I married a man with as little or less patience than I have. Together we make a dynamic duo of immediate gratification. We know what we want and we want it now.

We decided that 2011 was our year of the house. It took us all of 12 days into 2011 to find a house and make an offer. I mean look how adorable it is!!!

Which brings me to patience (which I don't have in case you missed that earlier). You know what is the worst thing to do to someone who has no patience? Make them wait for something they really want! And I really want to move into our new house NOW!

Once we found out that we got the house and had a closing date set, I have been willing it to get here faster. I mean seriously, I was ready to move in yesterday, last week, last month! We are still 9 days away from moving and I am dying of anticipation.

Here I am, waiting and waiting.

Someone please distract me.

P.S. The house is a 1918 Craftsman on Queen Anne hill in Seattle.
