Wordless Wednesday: Naked House

Our house is naked.

I'm talking the house itself, not the people inside.

Not that that doesn't happen too...

Ketch runs around without pants on all the time.

You're never fully dressed without a bandanna.

As does this brother.

I can't even begin to describe how much this kid loves to be naked.

We came home from vacation to this- a naked house.

 

Our house got stripped of its siding while we were gone, and is still getting stripped as we speak.

The 100 year old siding is going buh-bye, and brand new siding (that looks like the 100 year old siding) is going up. 

Oh, and say your last forewells to the diamonds above the porch and bathroom window.  They are being replaced with a new gable, that has no geometric shapes.

We had some water damage that we found in our basement remodel project, so it was only a matter of time (and money) before we got the siding replaced and added a waterproof layer.

So, since the sun is shining, and there is no rain in sight, the time has come.

It will all be going back up soon, and you know what that means?  

House paint.
