All About Me

I'm Ashley.  

I'm a blonde-haired-brunette and a middle child {you can start judging me now}.

I have a penchant for making up words.

Once, in college, I {unsuccessfully} tried to bring back overalls.

I've been working on getting "balderdash" back into the general vernacular for YEARS.

I love reality TV and I am certain that I would kick butt in the Amazing Race, although my partner would probably quit on me since I would be bossing them around the whole time.

Multi-tasking is my forte, which makes DIY my favorite past time.

Ever since I accidentally turned my hair ORANGE with Sun-In, I no longer need to learn lessons the hard way.

If I could be a professional in anything it would be crafting & baking {at the same time, and I would have 4 arms}.

I heart hot glue guns, burlap, buying other people's stuff, an awesome paint brush, clean laundry that I didn't have to wash or fold, puppy breath, Seattle, my adorable hubby, baby socks (especially when they are on my baby's feet), DIYing and being generally quirky.

If all wishes came true; I would be able to get a bargain by haggling over every purchase, nothing would cost more than $5, and sour patch kids would make you loose inexplicable amounts of weight, thus encouraging me to eat them at every meal.

I write about my life, which generally involves some {or none} of these things;

• Babies & puppies, then some more babies & puppies {oh and photos, lots of photos}
• My top pet peeves
• Painting walls without taping first {what a rebel I am}, changing my mind, repainting and then doing it all again {I'm not only a rebel, but also fickle}
•  Redecorating and redesigning our home {my hubby is a good sport}
• Reading and running, not at the same time {usually}
• Sewing all sorts of stuff from baby gifts to clothes
• Throwing parties with the flair of DIY and being the hostess with the mostess {not the one with the most Hostess}
• Gardening {and garden gnomes}
•  Tackiness in all its forms
• Living on a budget {somewhat successfully}
